Our Commitment

Accessibility
Statement.

The LiveSeen Walk exists to make the invisible seen. That mission extends to our digital home — we are committed to ensuring everyone, regardless of ability, can fully participate in our community.

WCAG 2.1 AAA

We aim for the highest standard.

Our website is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AAA conformance guidelines — the most rigorous accessibility standard defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.

We recognize that accessibility is not a checkbox but an ongoing practice. We continuously audit our site, listen to user feedback, and improve the experience for everyone in our community — especially those living with invisible chronic conditions who may have unique cognitive, sensory, or physical needs.

What We Do

Our accessibility practices.

Visual Contrast

We maintain WCAG 2.1 AAA color contrast ratios (7:1) across all text and interactive elements to ensure readability for users with low vision.

Keyboard Navigation

Every feature is operable with a keyboard alone. Focus indicators are clearly visible, and interactive elements follow a logical tab order.

Screen Reader Support

All content is marked up with semantic HTML and ARIA attributes. Images include descriptive alt text, and decorative elements are hidden from assistive technology.

Readable Typography

Text is resizable up to 200% without loss of content or functionality. We use clear, legible fonts with sufficient spacing for comfortable reading.

Motion & Animation Controls

We respect system-level reduced-motion preferences and provide a user-controlled pause toggle for all animations on the site.

Inclusive Design

Accessibility is part of our mission. We design for people living with invisible chronic conditions, recognizing that cognitive, sensory, and physical needs vary widely.

Transparency

Known limitations.

While we strive for full AAA conformance, some third-party content — such as embedded maps or external resource links — may not fully meet our standards. We are actively working with our partners to improve these integrations.

If you encounter a barrier that prevents you from accessing content or using a feature, please let us know. Your feedback directly shapes our improvements.
