Individual Observation Walk
Colorado STRONG World Narcolepsy Day Walk
World Narcolepsy Day Walk
The Colorado STRONG Narcolepsy Awareness Walk will take place on Sunday, September 20th, 2026, in honor of World Narcolepsy Day.
We will meet at the Washington Park Boathouse in Denver at 11:45 a.m. and begin walking at 12:00 p.m. We will take a relaxed walk around Smith Lake, so everyone is welcome to participate at their own pace. Afterward, we will meet for lunch at Junction Food & Drink, where participants can continue connecting and getting to know one another. The walk brings together people with narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia, along with their families, friends, and supporters. Its purpose is to raise awareness of these often-misunderstood neurological sleep disorders, reduce stigma, build community, and remind everyone living with narcolepsy or idiopathic hypersomnia that they are not alone. This is a free, informal awareness walk—not a fundraiser. It is simply an opportunity to walk together, support one another, and help people with narcolepsy and idiopathic hypersomnia feel seen, understood, and connected. Join us!

This is a personal observation walk. There's no sign-up — others are welcome to walk in solidarity on the same day, wherever they are.
